The re-registration qualification enables you to demonstrate your commitment to continuing professional development and the currency of your knowledge of PRINCE2® to employers, peers, and colleagues. The PRINCE2®   Re-registration exam comprises an exam paper set at the same standard as the Practitioner examination and is based on the 2009 PRINCE2® manual.

Candidates can choose to take the PRINCE2®  Re-registration exam paper based or computer based exam. The PRINCE2®  Re-registration exam format as follows:

  • Pass Mark: 55% (17 out of 30) 
  • Exam duration: 60 minutes 
  • Open book/notes: Yes (official PRINCE2 manual only)


The PRINCE2® Re-registration course is aimed at anyone who wish to gain a project management practitioner qualification. This course is ideal for project managers, consultants, project team members, support staff, general managers etc.

In order to sit the PRINCE2® Re-registration examination, you must provide proof of having passed PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner exam. A copy of your Foundation & Practitioner exam certificate is mandatory.

The credentials for the online course will be emailed to you within 2 hours of your enrollment and payment of the course price.



The payment must be done before the training starts. For classroom and virtual at least 15 days before the class commencement date. For the online mode of training, the materials will be accessible only after the receipt of course fees.


PRINCE2 Foundation is lifelong valid while PRINCE2 Practitioner needs to be renewed every 3 to 5 years. The candidate needs to renew their Practitioner certificate within this time period

Yes. Certprime is an accredited training organization (ATO) which is accredited to AXELOS and Peoplecert.

It will take 2 to 3 days to successfully pass your Practitioner exam and get certified.

After successfully passing your certification exam, you can validate your certificate immediately in the Peoplecert portal. You can choose your name to be displayed in the successful candidate register (AXELOS website). However, you need to opt for this during exam registration and it may take up to 5 weeks to have your name listed after successfully passing the exam.

PRINCE2 Practitioner needs to be renewed every 5 years to keep it valid. The Practitioner re-registration exam has a different exam pattern. Once you pass this exam the Practitioner certificate renews for another 5 years.
