The CRISC is designed for professionals who have 3 years of experience in Professional-Level Risk Control and Management. To get the CRISC credential, a professional must concur to abide by the CRISC Continuing Education Policy, pass the CRISC exam, and stick to the ISACA Code of Professional Ethics.The technical knowledge and practices that CRISC evaluates and promotes are the building blocks of victory in the field. After qualifying this certification, professionals can be hired as a Senior IT Auditor, Security Engineer Architect, IT Security Analyst, or Information Assurance Program Manager.

 

The exam format of ISACA CRISC® is as follows:

  • Exam Duration: 240 min (4 hrs)
  • Number of questions: 150
  • Passing Score: 450/800

The CRISC exam is four hours long and consists of 150 multiple choice questions set around five job practice domains.

ISACA uses a 200-800 point scale with 450 as the passing mark for the exams. A scaled score is a conversion of the raw score on an exam to a common scale. It is important to note that the exam score is not based on an arithmetic or percent average.
